In addition to frequently reviewing local shows, she’s covered many music festivals— Bonnaroo, Big Ears Festival, CMA Fest, AmericanaFest and more— and has reported from red carpets at the CMT Music Awards, CMT Artist of the Year Awards, BMI Awards and other country music events. Ladd has spoken on panels such as The Full Spectrum: Queer Americana and Beyond at AmericanaFest 2021, and is a recipient of the Rosetta Fund grant for journalists.
